Plastic Pollution

Plastic pollution is a serious problem but considering the size of it Moore said that there’s no technological solution to clean the ocean life. The Pacific plastic dump is unfixable he said so the only thing we can do is to prevent from adding more.

Earthquake Effect From Pollution

For years seismologists have been warning that Mexico City is due for another huge Earthquake, and if it is anything like the one in 1985 it could kill 10 million people and send another 15 million running for the US Border to seek refuge, food and employment. In the first week of December 2007, we were reminded of this problem, as the Mexican Volcano Popocatepetl had a mild gas eruption.

Of course, even a mild eruption is big for that active Volcano, as it sent debris and smoke into the air over 2-miles high. There have been five other smaller eruptions on that day over a 24-hour period and officials are worried that this could be the beginning of the end of Mexico City.

Currently, the conservative figures seem to indicate that there are some 20 million illegal aliens in the US, but it really looks like more than 35 million are here. If another 15-million come into the United States, it could easily sink our economy. Both countries are aware of this future crisis, but neither are fully prepared.

Another Volcano, Popo, which is highly active has also seen a uptick in activity. The US needs better border enforcement and the reality of these topics amongst the Presidential Candidates, never seem to touch on the true severity of things to come. It is not an issue of when Mexico City will be destroyed, but when. And all it will take is another 8.0 Earthquake, with a Volcano to boot and they seem to come together. Mexico City is not long for this world.
